Are you looking for a little more light in your life? Try the library’s new light therapy lamp!
The relative lack of sunlight during winter months is thought to negatively affect mood for some people. Exposure to bright light may help alleviate these “winter blues.”
Our new lamp generates illuminance of up to 10,000 lux. You’ll find it in the library’s Reading Room. Library patrons are welcome to come and sit under the lamp anytime.
We hope our lamp helps you have a happy, brighter winter!
