National Library Week 2023
National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. This year, National Library Week is happening April 23rd–29th.

National Poetry Month
April is National Poetry Month. From James Whitcomb Riley to Shel Silverstein to Fatimah Asghar, we have poems to fit all tastes and ages. Check out a book of poetry this month and see what you think!
Comics with Jingo
Kids and teens will get to create their own page of a comic book at "Comics with Jingo" on Friday, March 31st.
Jingo de la Rosa, illustrator and arts educator, will lead participants through the creative process and guide them in creating their comic’s illustrations.
Spring Break Activities at the Library
The library is hosting Spring Break Activities in the children’s area every day during the week of March 27th.

Celtic Music Concert
Join us for a concert of Celtic music with fiddler and singer Emily Ann Thompson!
Smallfoot at the Isis Theatre
We’re celebrating the end of Winter Reading with a FREE screening of the movie "Smallfoot" at the Isis Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 10:00 am!
The theater will open at 9:30. This screening is free and open to the public.
Blind Date with a Book
Valentine's Day will be here before we know it. With the holiday approaching, it's the perfect time to go on a blind date with a book!
Come to the library and check out one of our mystery books. You won't know what title you got until you check it out!
Mo Willems Week
We’re celebrating the birthday of one of our favorite children’s authors, Mo Willems, with a weeklong celebration!
Willems is the author of several modern children's classics, featuring characters like Pigeon, Piggie & Gerald, and Knuffle Bunny.
Winter Reading 2023
Get “Yeti to Read” with our Winter Reading Challenge!
Winter Reading is a program that encourages reading during the winter months. The program is for all ages – child, teen, and adult – and will run from January 17th to February 28th.

Lego Movie Maker SPARK Club
We’re excited to begin Lego Movie Maker SPARK Club in January!
Participants in this youth program will learn about animation, storyboards, and special effects. They’ll even create their very own Lego movie!
