Curbside Delivery

We are happy to offer curbside delivery of library materials!  With curbside delivery, we bring your library items to your vehicle outside the library.  Curbside delivery is available to any PCPL cardholder who requests it.

To get curbside delivery, first place a reserve on the items you wish to borrow.  You can reserve all sorts of library materials like books, magazines, and DVDs.  Reserves can be placed over the phone by calling the library at 574-946-3432, or by using our online catalog at https://catalog.pulaskicounty.lib.in.us/WebOpac/.

We will take your reserved items off the shelf and set them aside for you.  This may take up to 24 hours.  We will call you when your items are ready.  Please wait until you receive that call before coming to the library – your items will not be ready until we notify you. We appreciate your patience!

After you receive your telephone call, you will have five days to pick up your items. After five days, any remaining items will be re-shelved.

You can pick up your items Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.  Park in one of the designated spaces in the front of the building and give us a call to let us know you're here.  We'll bring the items out to your vehicle and give them to you using a contactless transfer stand.

You do not need to have a car to use curbside pickup! Please call the library when you arrive and wait by the fire hydrant near the front sidewalk. Let the staff member know that you are outside waiting for your items. They will put your items on the curbside hook and walk away so that you may have a contactless pickup.

We do not accept direct person-to-person returns of materials as part of curbside delivery.  Please use any of the library's book drops to return your items.  If you or a member of your household is ill, please don't return your items.  Contact the library, and we will make arrangements as appropriate.

We hope you enjoy this convenient library service!
