Dancing Through the Summer

We're hosting a Dance Camp for ages 6-12 this July!

In this three-part series, kids will learn about shape, action, and energy and how those ideas can be turned into a dance that they will help create.

Melli Hoppe, a dancer and instructor from Indiana’s Arts for Learning, will be leading this camp.

The camp is for children ages 6-12 and will take place on three Thursdays in July: July 7th, 14th, and 21st. You can choose either the 11:00 camp at the library in Winamac or the 2:00 camp at the West Side Center in Medaryville. You must be able to attend all three sessions to participate.

Advance registration is required! Space is limited, so visit the library to register now to reserve your spot. All sign-ups must be done in person.

Parents will drop their children off for this program and pick them up afterwards. Parents are welcome to spend their time in the library, but the program itself is only for participants and instructors.

There is a $10 fee per participant for this camp. Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

All Dance Camp participants will receive a T-shirt for attending all three weeks of the program!

Call the library at 574-946-3432 if you have questions.  Remember that all sign-ups must be done in person!
