While the State of Indiana remains in a public health emergency, our levels of service, including in-person services and staffing, will be based on Pulaski County’s status on the ISDH color-coded COVID-19 map: https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/
Our service levels are:
- Red - Curbside services only. No in-person browsing. Steps will be taken as appropriate to manage rolling staff shortages.
- Orange - Limited evening timed visits (15 min.) with occupancy limitations for in-person browsing services.
- Yellow - Limited evening timed (30 min.) with occupancy limitations for in-person browsing services.
- Blue - Limited morning and evening visits with occupancy limitations for in-person browsing services.
Our current service level will be listed on the homepage of our website.
When Pulaski County moves up a level on the ISDH map (e.g. Blue to Yellow), the library will adjust its service level accordingly. When the library is at Red, it will move to Orange once the county has been at Orange or lower on the ISDH map for two consecutive weeks. Other movements down in level (e.g. Orange to Yellow) will happen in accordance with the state map's advisory levels.
Curbside delivery of library materials will be available throughout Blue, Yellow, and Orange service levels as well as Red. Learn more about curbside delivery here: https://www.pulaskicounty.lib.in.us/curbside-delivery
Library staff are observing several enhanced health and safety procedures. Learn more at https://www.pulaskicounty.lib.in.us/covid-19-employee-health-and-safety-procedures
We have created several guidelines for in-person browsing during the Orange, Yellow, and Blue Levels. You can see them here: https://www.pulaskicounty.lib.in.us/browsing-guidelines
