During Summer Learning, kids will be challenged to read books of different types and in different places.  Participants who complete a challenge will earn a prize.  Prizes include passes to a variety of fun activities around the state.

We’ll also be hosting interactive programming on our Facebook page, including a weekly “Where in Pulaski County is Carmen Sandiego?” challenge.  Look for posts every Tuesday, Friday, and more.  Follow our page at

Adults will be able to participate in Hoosier-themed events this summer too, including an all-ages hike at the Tippecanoe River State Park and Indiana Trivia at the Pulaski County 4-H Fair.  Adults do not need to sign up for Summer Learning online but can pick up a reading challenge sheet at the library.

Summer Learning is an annual library program encouraging children to read and learn throughout the summer months.  This year’s program runs from June 1st to July 30th.  Any local kids aged 3 to 18 can participate in the program.  The first day to sign up is June 1st.  You can sign up anytime during the program.
