Virtual Programming: Week of August 10th

Here’s what’s coming up at the library during the week of August 10th.  Items with asterisks are live and require registration in advance.  All events and activities will be posted on the library’s Facebook page.

Emoji Book Monday (10:00 a.m.) Can you figure out the book titles using emojis as clues?

Tour Tuesday: Whitefish Point, Michigan (4:00 p.m.) Visit the Shipwreck Museum where several artifacts reside, including the bell of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, which famously sank on November 10, 1975.

Wellness Wednesday: Budgeting Basics (11:30 a.m.)  Being able to manage your finances is an important part of your overall wellness.  Certified Health Coach Sandy Orsund will share tips on how you can create an effective budget.

Teen Zoom Chat* (Wednesday, 4:00 p.m.) Teens get to together to talk and hang out virtually.  Call the library at 946-3432 to sign up for this program.

Story Time (Thursday, 10:30 a.m.)  School is starting, so Denise will read Click, Clack, Quack to School! by Doreen Cronin.  She’ll also share some fun activities you can print off and do at home!

Creative Thursday: Ribbon Bookmarks (4:00 p.m.)  These fun and easy bookmarks can be made for all occasions and given as gifts.

Flashback Friday: (8:00 a.m.) Every Friday morning we post a blast from the past on our Facebook page.
