Virtual Programming: Week of July 6th

Here’s what’s coming up at the library during the week of July 6th.  Items with asterisks are live and require registration in advance.  All events and activities will be posted on the library’s Facebook page.

Emoji Book Monday (1:00 p.m.) Can you figure out the book titles using emojis as clues?

Tour Tuesday (4:00 p.m.) See a baby sea otter who was rescued in Monterey, CA.  He was rehabilitated and sent to the Shedd Aquarium where he now lives!

Wellness Wednesday: Creative Ways to Connect with Others (11:30 a.m.) Certified Health Coach Sandy Orsund shares unique ways you can connect with people and stay in touch with those you care about.

Teen Zoom Chat* (Wednesday, 4:00 p.m.) Teens get to together to talk and hang out virtually.  Call the library at 946-3432 to sign up for this program.

Story Time & Bug Snacks (10:30 a.m.) Denise will read The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle.  Then she’ll make some fun finger foods based on bugs! 

Creative Thursday: (4:00 p.m.) Make a Succulent Sand Art Terrarium.

Flashback Friday: (8:00 a.m.) Every Friday morning we post a blast from the past on our Facebook page.

Book Club*: (Friday, 2:30 p.m.) At this month’s book club, we’ll be discussing Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.  Copies of the book are still available at the library.  Sign up here to get the link to the Zoom meeting: .  (If you’ve already attended one of our virtual book clubs, you do not need to sign up again.)

Friday Night Cruise (6:00-7:00 p.m.) Relive fun nights by cruising the “Winamac Lap.”

Upcoming: Blood Drive* (Tuesday, July 14th, 1:00-6:00 p.m.) We’re partnering with the South Bend Medical Foundation to host a blood drive in the library parking lot on Tuesday, July 14th.  Your blood donations help local neighbors.  Learn more and sign up at using the sponsor code PulaskiCPL.
