Virtual Programming: Week of June 29th

Here’s what’s coming up at the library during the week of June 29th.  Items with asterisks are live and require registration in advance.  All events and activities will be posted on the library’s Facebook page.

Bug Activity Kit – request form opens (Monday, 11:00 a.m.) Our Activity Kits contain all sorts of fun things for school-aged children to learn, play, and create.  Limited quantities of kits are available.  We will post the link to the request form on our Facebook page on Monday.

Emoji Book Monday (1:00 p.m.) Can you figure out the book titles using emojis as clues?

Tour Tuesday (4:00 p.m.) Explore Hearst Castle, the 68,000-square foot, 115-room property built by newspaper and magazine mogul William Randolph Hearst.

Trivia Tuesday* (6:00 p.m.) Join us for an easy-going trivia night.  Play in a team or by yourself – it’s all just for fun!  This program will take place using Zoom.  Sign up here to get the link to the program:

Wellness Wednesday: General Wellness* (11:30 a.m.) Learn tips and skills to be well in mind and body from Certified Health Coach Sandy Orsund.  Sign up for this live program here:

Teen Zoom Chat* (Wednesday, 4:00 p.m.) Teens get to together to talk and hang out virtually.  Call the library at 946-3432 to sign up for this program.

Story Time & French Toast in a Mug (10:30 a.m.) Denise will read Cook-a-Doodle-Doo! by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel to get us into the cooking mood.  Then she’ll show us how to make French toast in a mug!

Creative Thursday: (4:00 p.m.) Make a patriotic wall hanging just in time for the Fourth of July.

Flashback Friday: (8:00 a.m.) Every Friday morning we post a blast from the past on our Facebook page.

Friday Night Cruise (6:00-7:00 p.m.) Relive fun nights by cruising the “Winamac Lap.”
