Accessibility

The library is committed to providing service to all members of the community.

Both the front and back entrances to the library have automatic doors and are accessible for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices. There are two designated accessible parking spaces in front of the building and one in the back.

The Magnolia Room, Delores “Dee” Galbreath Local History Room, and Carnegie Study Area are on the library’s upper level. This level is accessible by stairs inside, near the front entrance, and by an elevator behind the main desk. See a diagram of the library's room layout on our Meeting Rooms and Public Spaces page.

In 2024, the library improved accessibility with new doors in its entryways and new, lower shelving in its children’s area. These projects were made possible through two $20,000 grants as part of the Libraries Transforming Communities* initiative.

Curbside pickup is available to all library cardholders. Doorstep delivery is available to eligible individuals.

If you need transportation to the library, contact Pulaski County Human Services at 574-946-6500.

Please don’t hesitate to ask or contact us if you require assistance or need additional accommodations to use library services.
