Board of Trustees

A seven-member Board of Trustees governs the Pulaski County Public Library. The board is responsible for library governance and policy. The board also hires the library director, who is responsible for the library's administration, operation, and maintenance.

Local elected official bodies appoint board members. The County Commissioner's office, the County Council, and the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation each appoint two seats, while the West Central and North Judson-San Pierre school boards appoint a joint seat.

The Board of Trustees meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the library. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meetings, as the board welcomes public input and comments.

To be mindful of the open meeting process, the Pulaski County Public Library Board of Trustees does not provide home addresses or individual emails to conduct Library business.  Outside of regular meetings, correspondence may be sent to the Library at 121 S.
