Celebrate Dr. Seuss in Our Children's Area This March

With Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd, we're spending the whole month celebrating one of the most beloved children's authors of all time – and we'd love for your family to join in on the fun!

Whether your little ones are fans of the mischievous Cat in the Hat, rooting for Horton as he hears a Who, or learning that "a person's a person, no matter how small," there's something magical about the world of Dr. Seuss that keeps readers coming back again and again. From One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish to Oh, the Places You'll Go!, his books have been sparking imagination and a love of reading for generations.

Stop by our Children's Area all month long to take part in:

  • Dr. Seuss Story Times: Gather around for read-alouds of your favorite Seuss classics, perfect for young readers of all ages. Tuesdays at 10:30 & 5:15.
  • Crafts & Activities: Get creative with Seuss-inspired art projects your kids can take home. All day on Fridays.
  • Dr. Seuss Scavenger Hunt: Available all month! Pick up your sheet at the Children's Desk and hunt for clues hidden throughout the area.

So come on in – because as Dr. Seuss himself once wrote, “You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So... get on your way!”
