Medicare 101

What does Medicare cover? How much can I expect to pay?  When and where should I apply?  What if I’m still working?

Get answers to all these questions and more at Medicare 101.

Medicare expert Cliff Havens will teach you about the Medicare program and the changes coming in 2023.

We're hosting two Medicare 101 sessions: Saturday, October 1st at 9:30 a.m., and Tuesday, November 15th at 4:45 p.m.  Choose the date that works best for you.

Medicare open enrollment runs from October 15 to December 7.  Attend one of our programs to be prepared!

These programs will be beneficial to anyone approaching Medicare age (turning 65), anyone already on Medicare, spouses or children of those on Medicare who help make these types of decisions, and anyone under 65 who is on disability and receiving Medicare benefits.

Medicare 101 will take place in the Reading Room at the library.  Early sign-up is encouraged.  Call the library at 574-946-3432 to reserve your spot.
