National Library Week 2023

National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.  This year, National Library Week is happening April 23rd–29th.

There’s so much more to the story of libraries than just books.  We loan unique items, provide access to tools and technology, and offer programming that brings communities together.

Celebrations during the week will include Take Action for Libraries Day on Tuesday and National Library Workers Day and a special Movie Night on Thursday.  For Patron Appreciation Day on Wednesday, join us for cookies, coffee, and camaraderie in the library’s Café/Lounge.

We'll host Library Tours every day during the week at 10:30 and 5:15.  Tell us why the library is important to you, and we might share your message on our Facebook page!
