New Carpet Being Installed in Children's Area

The Children’s Area is getting a makeover! We’ll be installing new carpeting the week of May 20th.

While the carpet is being installed, the Children’s Area will be closed to the public. But don’t worry – we’ll be continuing our children’s services and activities in the Reading Room throughout the installation! A wide variety of books will remain available, and your favorite children’s programs still will take place.

In preparation for this project, the library will be closed the morning of Friday, May 17th. We will open at 1:00 p.m. on that date.

We hope to see you at the library this week, and we’re looking forward to our newly carpeted children’s area!

Update 5-22-24: The carpet project has been progressing brilliantly! The library will open at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23rd and Friday, May 24th as we work in the mornings to start bringing things back into the children's area.
