Checkout Periods:

21 days. Returns automatically.

Holds:

Not needed! You can check out a title even if someone else has it checked out.

Offline Reading & Listening:

Yes! Available through the iOS or Android app.

Number of Checkouts:

20 per month. All Hoopla items (audiobooks, albums, movies, etc) count toward this total. These replenish each calendar month, not when you return an item.

 

Music

Checkout Periods:

7 days. Returns automatically.

Holds:

Not needed! You can check out a title even if someone else has it checked out.

Offline Reading & Listening:

Yes! Available through mobile apps only.

Number of Checkouts:

20 per month. All Hoopla items (audiobooks, albums, movies, etc) count toward this total. An entire album counts as 1 checkout regardless of how many songs are on it. These replenish each calendar month, not when you return an item.

 

Movies & TV

Streaming Rules:

You can stream anything you check out as often as you want during the 7-day loan period.

Supported Devices:

iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire HD

Checkout Period:

72 hours. Returns automatically.

Holds:

Not needed! You can check out a title even if someone else has it checked out.

Mobile and TV apps:

Hoopla mobile apps are available for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire tablets.  Hoopla is also compatible with most Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV, and Android TV devices.  Visit www.hoopladigital.com/help to learn more about supported devices.

Offline Viewing:

Not available. You’ll need an Internet connection when watching a streaming video (even after you add it to the Hoopla app).  Streaming videos can consume a lot of data, so we recommend streaming over a Wi-Fi or cabled Internet connection.
