Libby/OverDrive

OverDrive provides downloadable e-books, audiobooks, and magazines through the Indiana Digital Library.  You can download the Libby app to access OverDrive content on your mobile device.

Checkout Periods:

Default is 14 days. Use your account settings to adjust to 21 days for all items (magazines can also be adjusted to 7 days). Items return automatically at the end of the loan period.

Holds:

Up to 10 at a time for eBooks and audiobooks. 

Holds are not needed for magazines! You can check out a title even if someone else has it checked out.

Offline Reading & Listening:

Use the Libby app to read or listen on iOS and Android devices. 

Number of Checkouts:

10 eBooks or audiobooks at a time. These replenish when an item is returned.

Magazines are unlimited and do not count toward the 10-item limit for other content types on OverDrive. You can check out as many magazines as you want!
