Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a special visit from Humane Indiana Wildlife & Rehabilitation Center and their amazing animal ambassadors!

Kids and families will meet live animals including Casper the Barn Owl, Oscar the Skunk, Flapjack the Opossum, and more. These "spooky" creatures are perfect for the Halloween season!

Each animal has a unique story about why they couldn't be released back into the wild and now serves as a wildlife ambassador. Humane Indiana staff will share details about each animal's rescue, their natural habitats, and what makes them special.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about local wildlife rehabilitation and get up close with animals you might encounter in nature.

This free program will be great for kids and is open to all ages. Join us at the library on Saturday, October 18th at 10:00 a.m.
