Event Details

Winter isn't just cold and quiet – it's essential! Kids will discover "What Winter Is Good For" with Ellen from Tippecanoe River State Park on Wednesday, Jan. 28th at 3:00.

Ellen will talk about winter’s many hidden benefits: beautiful snowflakes, tree rings (revealed through hands-on "tree cookies"), and how the season's downtime helps nature prepare for spring's burst of life.

Kids will also make a craft at this afterschool program.
