Summer Reading is here! The theme for this year's youth program is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
Children ages 3–18 can take part in Summer Reading. Summer Reading is free – there is no charge to participate in the program or activities!
Several community members have contacted the library, eager to read the remarks our Executive Director, MacKenzie Ledley, made at the Memorial Day services earlier this week. Her interest in the stories of local Vietnam War veterans has been ongoing over the past year.
The Children’s Area is getting a makeover! We’ll be installing new carpeting the week of May 20th.
Kindergartners and 2nd graders got to see what the Pulaski County Public Library is all about during class visits earlier this month.
139 Eastern Pulaski students from the two grades visited the library in early May.
Come to the library on Saturday, May 11th for a Mother's Day Story Time!
We'll be reading "We’re Making Breakfast for Mother" by Shirley Neitzel, "Mamasaurus" by Stephen Lomp, and more.
We'll also make a paper flower craft for Mother's Day.

Learn about the Panhandle Pathway’s past, present, and future at Hoosier Explorers, a local group for seniors, at the Pulaski County Public Library on Tuesday, May 14th at 1:00 p.m.

Did your child register for a tree for Earth Day? These lovely white pine trees are ready for pickup during the library’s regular hours. We received 133 local requests for trees. Please pick up your tree by Saturday, April 27th.
Hoosier author Tom Rose will be at the library on Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the grief journey he went through after his wife died from breast cancer in 2019. He covers his experience in his book Balloon in a Box.
Visit our children's area this month to take part in a snail scavenger hunt!
We've hidden snail images around the area, each featuring a number and a letter. Put the letters in the right order to spell out a secret message and win a prize!
Pulaski County Clerk JoLynn Behny recently visited the library's monthly Hoosier Explorers program to discuss the voting process for this year's upcoming elections.
